If there was a tombstone over Judas' grave it would read "the sad ending of a life that might have been honored by God".
Of all Jesus' disciples, by man's standards Judas showed the most promise.
He was connected, experienced, far reaching, a visionary.
Judas felt that if Jesus would only take him into His confidence and put His trust in the things Judas could accomplish for Him, Jesus would have a successful campaign as the nation's Messiah.
