My God Be My Song - Upbeat Version

My God Be My Song - Upbeat Version

My God Be My Song

My God by my strength

When the world grows dark around me

Be my light when the weakness of my heart

Betrays me once again

My Lord, be my strength

My God, be my song

When the night circles round to crush me

Be my wall, You’re the only arm I lean on

You are the softness in my soul

My Jesus, be my song

Because in Your strength I will sing the song of angels

That You teach me from Your own lips

In Your love I can tell the hosts of heaven

How You set my weakened spirit on the wings of song

Yes I can tell them in Your strength

Yes I can tell them in Your strength

My God, I hide in You

There’s no dark too dark for Your love

There’s nowhere to far for You to reach me

There’s no place I long to be except

In Your love

My God be my strength

When my soul has let go of life

When I’ve lost the fight

Oh, my Lord! I’ve given up

Be my strength

Don't leave me Lord

I beg you stay here by my side

Though I can't always feel you near me

Jesus, don't let me trust myself

My Lord, please don't leave me

 Don't leave me Lord

I beg you stay here by my side

Though I can't always feel you near me

My Jesus, don't let me trust myself

Cuz You promised You'd never leave me

Don't leave me Lord

I beg you stay here by my side

Though I can't always feel you near me

Oh, My Jesus, don't let me trust myself

You promised You'd never leave me

Lord, because in Your strength I can sing the song of angels

That You teach me from Your own lips

In Your love I can tell the host of heaven

How You set my weakened spirit on the wings of song

Yes I can tell them in Your strength

Yes I can tell them in Your strength

And when my eyes can see again

When the glass that once was dark clears

Oh my Lord, my God, I see, now

You’ve never left me

You've always

You’ve always loved me

My Jesus

You’re my strength

About Us:

This world is a dry and weary land.

All around us are people dying for a drink of fresh, new life.

In the Bible, drought and famine were used as a symbol of the lack or withdrawal of God's blessing.

Like the prodigal son and the lost sheep, we have all chosen to leave the safety and security of God's love and favor, enticed by our own lusts and the alluring but empty and deadly deceptions of the enemy of our souls.

We find ourselves lost, alone, broken, hungry, thirsty and on the brink of death.

But none have strayed so far that they cannot return.

Jesus actively seeks and works to rescue every last one of His precious souls redeemed from destruction by the very high price of His spotless life and terrible death on their behalf.

As the world departs further and further from God, and you find yourself in a dark, lonely desert place longing for hope, faith, love and a future, remember that Jesus loves you.

Cry out to Him for help and surrender your life back to Him.

He promised He would take you back, always.

We pray the music ministry of The Rain refreshes your dry and weary soul, and opens your heart for the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit in these end times.

Love,
Nick and Lauren
