My Whiskey To Water - Instrumental

My Whiskey To Water - Instrumental

My Whiskey To Water

My whiskey has turned to water

My anger has turned to peace

As I cross the border to redemption

On my knees

My drugs have turned to preaching

My depression has turned to joy and song

As I cross the border to redemption

On my knees

Oh

My whiskey has turned to water

My anger has turned to peace

As I cross the border to redemption

On my knees

My drugs have turned to preaching

My depression has turned to joy

As I cross the border

To redemption on my knees

Yeah

Whoa I’ve been bringing down

The old man

Oh watch him drown

The old man

I’m rising up in the new way

Living in praise and singing

Oh I’m bringing down

The old man

Gonna watch him drown

The old man

As I’m living in the new way

Living and praising and singing

I’ve been raised up

By the river

Cuz I’ve been down

To the grave

I’ve been raised up by the river

As I cross the border into the new way

Oh

I’ve been bringing down

The old man

Watch him drown

The old man

Oh as I’m living in the new way

I’m living and praising

I’m singing

Cuz I’ve been down

To the grave

Cuz I’ve been raised

By the river

Crossing over the border into the newness of life

Oh

Yeah

I’ve been down

To the river

I’ve been on down

Under

The water

Oh as I cross the border

Into new life

Cuz I’m bringing down

The old man

Watch him drown

The old man

As I rise up in the new way

Oh I’m living and praising and singing

I’m baptized and alive

Cuz I’m alive

I’m bringing down the old man

Cuz I rise up in the new way

Cuz I’m living in praise

And I’m singing

I’m alive

Well I’ve been down to the grave

Been raised up in the water

As I cross over the border into new life

As I rise up in the new way

I’m living in praise

And I’m singing

I’m alive

  About Us:

This world is a dry and weary land.

All around us are people dying for a drink of fresh, new life.

In the Bible, drought and famine were used as a symbol of the lack or withdrawal of God's blessing.

Like the prodigal son and the lost sheep, we have all chosen to leave the safety and security of God's love and favor, enticed by our own lusts and the alluring but empty and deadly deceptions of the enemy of our souls.

We find ourselves lost, alone, broken, hungry, thirsty and on the brink of death.

But none have strayed so far that they cannot return.

Jesus actively seeks and works to rescue every last one of His precious souls redeemed from destruction by the very high price of His spotless life and terrible death on their behalf.

As the world departs further and further from God, and you find yourself in a dark, lonely desert place longing for hope, faith, love and a future, remember that Jesus loves you.

Cry out to Him for help and surrender your life back to Him.

He promised He would take you back, always.
