Rise Up - Live

Rise Up (Ps 1)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the councils of the ungodly
Nor stands in the way of the sinners
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful
But his delight is in the law of the law of God
And in his law he meditates day and night
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water
Who bringeth forth his fruit in his season
Whose leaf also shall not wither
And whatsoever he does shall prosper
The ungodly are not so
They are like the chaff which the wind drives away
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment
Nor the sinners in the congregation of the righteous
For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous
But the way of the ungodly shall perish
Oh Lord how they increase who trouble me
Many are they that rise up against me
Many are they which say of my soul
There is no help for him in God
But thou oh Lord are a shield for me
Thou art my glory the lifter up of my head
But thou oh Lord are a shield for me
My glory the lifter up of my head
I cried unto the Lord with my voice
And He heard me from his holy hill
I lay down and slept
I awoke for the Lord sustained me
And I will not be afraid
Though ten thousands of people set themselves against me
Arise oh Lord save me my God
Thou has smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone
Thou has broken the teeth of the ungodly
Salvation belongs unto the Lord
And His blessings upon his people
Lord how they increase who trouble me
Many are they that rise up against me
Many are they which say of my soul
There is no help for him in God
But thou oh Lord are a shield for me
Thou art my glory the lifter up of my head
But thou oh Lord are a shield for me
My glory the lifter up of my head
I cried unto the Lord with my voice
And He heard me from his holy hill
Well I lay down and slept
I awoke for the Lord sustained me
And I will not be afraid
Though ten thousands of people set themselves against me around about
Arise oh Lord save me my God
Thou has smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone
Thou has broken the teeth of the ungodly
Salvation belongs unto the Lord
And his blessings upon his people
His blessings upon his people
Oh his blessings upon his people
His blessings upon his people
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the councils of the ungodly
Nor stands in the way of the sinners
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful
But his delight is in the law of the law of God
And in his law he meditates day and night
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water
Who bringeth forth his fruit in his season
Whose leaf also shall not wither
And whatsoever he does shall prosper
Oh his blessings upon his people
His blessings upon his people
Oh his blessings upon his people
Ah his blessings upon his people
Yes his blessings upon his people
About Us:
This world is a dry and weary land.
All around us are people dying for a drink of fresh, new life.
In the Bible, drought and famine were used as a symbol of the lack or withdrawal of God's blessing.
Like the prodigal son and the lost sheep, we have all chosen to leave the safety and security of God's love and favor, enticed by our own lusts and the alluring but empty and deadly deceptions of the enemy of our souls.
We find ourselves lost, alone, broken, hungry, thirsty and on the brink of death.
But none have strayed so
