The Lord Is My Salvation

The Lord Is My Salvation
The Lord is my salvation
He lifts when I cry unto him
He comforts me in all my distress
When my soul is vexed unto death
He lifts my heavy burden
And blesses me with his sweet peace
The Lord is my salvation
Why should I fear
For God is here with me
Though unworthy am I
He protects me
The Lord is faithful and just to me
And if I confess my sins
To him
He will forgive
For he delights in mercy
He teaches me to trust in him
To turn from my sins in true repentance and contrition
To call on him in times of trouble
For the Lord is my salvation
My Lord is Jesus
He’s my salvation
He is my salvation
The Lord is my strength and my song
He lifts me up when I cry to him
He comforts me in all my distress
When my soul is vexed unto death
He takes my burden and blesses me with peace
The Lord is my salvation
Why should I fear
For God is here with me
Here with me
Why should I fear
For God is here with me
And though unworthy am I
He protects me day and night
The Lord is faithful and just
I confess my sins to him
And he forgives and loves me freely
For he delights in mercy
He teaches me to trust in him
The long is my salvation
He lifts me up when I cry to him
He comforts me in all my distress and pain
And when my soul is vexed unto death
He takes my heavy burden and blesses me with peace
Why should I fear for God is here with me
With me
The Lord is my salvation
Who should I fear
For God is here with me
I courage and faith we will press on
He leads through the night into everlasting light
His word will not fail us his promise is sure
He leads through the night into everlasting light
Press on my friend the end is near
Oh
His word will not fail us
His promise is sure
The Lord is my salvation
Whom shall I fear
For God is here with me
About Us:
This world is a dry and weary land.
All around us are people dying for a drink of fresh, new life.
In the Bible, drought and famine were used as a symbol of the lack or withdrawal of God's blessing.
Like the prodigal son and the lost sheep, we have all chosen to leave the safety and security of God's love and favor, enticed by our own lusts and the alluring but empty and deadly deceptions of the enemy of our souls.
We find ourselves lost, alone, broken, hungry, thirsty and on the brink of death.
But none have strayed so far that they cannot return.
Jesus actively seeks and works to rescue every last one of His precious souls redeemed from destruction by the very high price of His spotless life and terrible death on their behalf.
As the world departs further and further from God, and you find yourself in a dark, lonely desert place longing for hope, faith, love and a future, remember that Jesus loves you.
Cry out to Him for help and surrender your life back to Him.
He promised He would take you back, always.
Love,
Nick and Lauren
