The world is full of contradiction. So many sources want to invade our thoughts and beliefs - how can we know which concepts and theories to accept as truth and which to reject as error?

Yes! It does! God tells us in His word that believing comes through hearing and obeying His word.

So how can we tell if we are being duped by a smooth preacher who is telling us to do something that seems radical and what God is actually saying?

There is a war going on and intercepting and changing the communications and directions from the General is the enemy's main strategy.
