Psalms 8:4
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Psalms 144:3
Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
Finite beings created a little lower than the angels, one of the youngest of all of the created being so God’s enormous universe filled with all of his children.
The only planet that fell.
The only planet that God became as his creation incarnate and took on the penalty for our sins himself because he could not bear to live without us.
What is this tremendous value that you place upon us? Finite beings on a doomed troubled planet that you would visit us in our dark and deplorable state, that you would join us in our chosen bondage and difficulty here on this planet. To hunger. To thirst. To be weary.
The Lord of life and love and happiness and gentleness and peace experiencing in our flesh pain, rejection, sadness, heaviness, depression, death.
What is man that you place such value on us that you would pay such an infinite price to ransom us?
What a mighty loving God we serve. That he would pour out all of heaven for man.

“Behold, He cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.”
Revelation 1:7
